My name is Luisa Briceno, I’m Venezuelan, graduated with a bachelors in Business Administration and a masters in Finance. However, even having my degrees I have always wished to take cooking classes, but for any other reason I never did it and I have yet to do so. This has never been a limitation to put in motion and bake with all the love and dedication the pastries and cakes. Now here in a few lines I’ll tell you my story. In September 2009 I started helping my sister-in-law sell her cakes and I can say that about four months into helping I found myself head deep in this amazing world of baking pastries. Every birthday, baptism, communion, wedding, etc., I deliver my passion and vocation, as I can say with total belief that in this activity i have found my passion and vocation, that is why I do not consider this my job and in every project i give 100%, combines with love for handcrafts as well as my desire to deliver sweetness, giving myself fully to the world of Pastries. 

 

    From this moment on and the following three years in Venezuela I continued working, learning and improving in every cake and project I made. It was in 2012, after arriving to Houston when the adventure started. More excitement and challenges, it was not only baking but also adapting all the orders to the new ingredients, tastes and palates for the diversity of clients, cultures and customs in the U.S. This has made me more motivated and dedicated to the sweetness of this world, where everyday take small but sure steps. In the same way, after 4 years of dedication Lulu Sweet Cakes is born. The name has a special meaning to me which fulfills more my passion to what i love doing. 

 

    I conclude saying that from my kitchen Lulu Sweet Cakes is dedicated to bake all pastries with a high doses of Love and Passion to deliver and continue being a part of your special moments for many more years.
